The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, and project team members.
• Running and maintaining a schedule
• Monitor project deliverables
• Effectively lead owner and subcontractor meetings on the project progress
• Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them
• Must have basic tools to perform manual labor including, but not limited to, door and hardware installation and framing
• 5 years experience
• Strong business acumen in project planning and management
• Must be self-motivated and have strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
• Ability to use an Ipad and/computer
• Must work well with others
• Reliable transportation

Part-Time position with Full-Time and Benefits potential.
$12-15/hour dependent upon experience.

Blain is a native of Corbin, KY and has lived in Lexington for the last 13 years. He has a passion for making technology work in business and has worked various jobs in IT and Construction. He brings with him 4 years of Project Management experience and we can't wait to see what he'll accomplish with us!

We are so excited to announce that we are now a part of American Buildings Company!
As an authorized ABC Builder, we will have access to American Buildings’ engineering and design expertise, industry-leading technology and quality building products. We will also be able to receive marketing support and hands-on training in various aspects of building.
The Copperfield Home Owners Association Clubhouse project Mefford Contracting is currently working on consists of a remodel of the current clubhouse including an addition to the clubhouse and a completely newly designed entrance into the building. The addition to the clubhouse also includes a new covered patio on the back of the building, new restrooms, and a new kitchen area. We will also be adding a pavilion by the pool that will include a storage area as well as a covered patio area that includes a grill and a firepit.
We would like to extend a warm welcome to our new Site Superintendent, Paul Williams. He graduated from Georgetown College and has held leadership roles in previous positions before coming to Mefford Contracting.
Here are a few interesting facts about Paul:
*He plans to shoot an even par, or better, on every round of golf this year, and every year to come.
*He once almost caught a dinger off the Green Monster at Fenway Park.
*He plans for his little truck to make it to 1 million miles!
